Does anyone with an upgraded UAQ radio know how to get updates? I added the radio to my 2014 but didnt get the VIN from the original vehicle.

I upgraded my 2019 RAM 1500 from a UCONNECT 3 Radio to the 8.4 4C NAV-UAQ.

I bought it from Infotainment.com, so FCA only has my crappy UCONNECT 3 Radio in their system. So when I go to check to see if there’s any updates at driveuconnect.com it goes by the VIN and not the Radio Serial # like I wish it would!

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP US, P L E A S E ! ?

Find a 2019 ram with 4C radio and use that Vin instead.

How do find that info out? There’s no info in the Settings > System Info

Hi, yesterday I had free time so tried to get info on off road pages app. I have cherokee 2019 US model, 2.0 turbo, 4x4 limited(imported here in Europe). Uconnect is 8.4 panasonic (UAQ) with navigation. So I have found some info on new updates here

and in Ram forum somewhere.

My radio original version was 21.9.
Upgraded step by step, first 22.6, then 28.3, 30.24 and last 34.2. Everything went fine. And after every upgrade/reboot, I saw "Installing Off-Road Pages". My hope was that maybe after update off road pages will appear, but no luck.
I guess that all cars has pre-build apps, just depends on some "body computer" configurations ?

I know this is an old thread but new to Cherokee I got a 2016 high altitude that needs updating, going through steps and can’t get Jeep to recognize the flash drive, any suggestions ? My dealership wants $100 to flash the update so yeah that’s not happening

Just purchased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. I get the "insert update USB message." Downloaded the update with the VIN, but it gets stuck on update 11 of 15. The internet is full of people with the same issue. I have tried all of the suggestions. Jeep dealership had no idea how to fix it. Machine told us it needs updates.
UConnect customer service was NO help. Told me to take it to the dealership and to retry the usb. I'm not taking it back when they don't know how to fix it, duh............ and I tried the update at least 8 times. Help.

Brother went to Dealer twice because NAV not working right. They just said it needed update of uconnect system.Still doesn't work.
When my wife wanted new maps in our 2017 I did the sys. update and bought the 2021 map from HERE.
Checked my brothers 2016 uconnect sys. version and it was the original. Dealer doesn't know what they are doing.
But, then operating systems and firmware really don't fall under the category of Auto repair, or maybe the Dealer needs to hire a programmer full time!

P.S. Install your update on another USB, and keep trying until it takes. A guy on another Jeep Forum said his was acting like yours, but he did it while driving to work and it took?

P.S.2 The update is really slow. It will take 20 to 30 minutes. Watch it carefully, and don't get
impatient. Do it with the motor running.
The map update takes well over an hour. I had to open the hood and use a fan when I did the map
update..........

Make sure the 4 or 5 unzipped/zipped files aren't in a folder on the USB.

After the update I noticed a global smoother UI, the screen is also becoming less hot while it is switched on, and the system is much more

30€ for the update and 120€ for 3 years map subscription

After the update of the system and the map subscription activation I was also able to update the maps to some 2021 version at home using a USB key and my PC

For all my canadian friends it seems we're on RA3 version so I was getting this stupid product mismatch error . Found the proper update and it worked! fixed so many of my issues including camera, bluetooth, and a few other annoying problems. Looks like RA3 is applicable to everything except Trailhawk editions for canada I've uploaded it to my dropbox hope this helps! Dropbox - Error
