Go here and enter your VIN. It will tell you that there is an update available. Follow the instructions to download the update to a USB thumb drive and then you can flash your Cherokee radio. I completed the flash last night and now have ALL of the VIA MOBILE apps. Works GREAT!

No Problem! One caveat. I was unsuccessful in downloading the update using Windows 8.1 64-bit. I had to use an old laptop with Windows 7. The download utility simply would not work with my Windows 8.1 configuration regardless of whether I used IE or Firefox. Windows 7 started the download right away.

i'm in the process of downloading it right now on my mac. Lucky for me my wife was at the store and i told her to purchase a thumb drive. I can't wait for her to get back so i can update my system.

yesterday, i went to the dealer for my "nav-ready" navigation to be turned on (purchased the trailhawk monday evening and due to different timezones, they were unable to turn it on). My service advisor was really helpful by showing me the controls however voice controls for nav was unable to work. We couldn't figure it out since it was working for the radio, and temperature. He went to the drawing boards, made a few calls and viola...we found out that its not updated. pressed for time, i told him that i'll have to come back next saturday. If this works, you definitely saved me a trip. pending...

Ha...thought it was my accent. Every time I say "navigate" it tunes Sirius XM to channel 88.

^i tried it, my service rep tried it and another rep tried it. it was a headache for all of us. Everything updated. btw, please disconnect the usb after its done updating and goes back to the regular screen. i accidentally updated it twice and it does take quite some time. Thanks again Xphyle. u really did save me a trip to the dealer. Everything works...setting up my apps from my mac now. and i just remote locked my jeep using my phone. these perks should come standard.

Was your Win7 PC a 32 bit? I have tried on two Win7 64 bit systems and it won't launch after installing.

I wound up using a Windows 2008 server I have running in a VM. I could not get it to download on my windows 8 notebook.

But once it was downloaded I could extract the files on my notebook.

I could not download it on any 64-bit machine, Windows 8.1 nor Windows 7. I plugged in a 32-bit netbook with Windows 7 and going to try after I update the anti-virus and operating system.
