This whole 'ride height' thing seems to take-on some qualities beyond the logical. I'm just gonna leave mine as the factory made it, unless/until I find some tangible reason to raise it.
Is your Altitude ADII???🤔😉😎

No just ADI. And about the only 'off-road' it encounters is the occasional pothole in the asphalt. :)
Well you are in Canada, so I'm sure you see at least a little snow in the winter just about anywhere, don't you???😉😎

I just did the 2” spacers up front with new balljoints and Billstein shocks. I’ll be installing the stiletto rear control arm and Billsteins for the rear tomorrow.
That's probably the setup I would go with, if I were doing it all over again...😁😉😎

Due to the factory lift already on it, I have read in multiple forums and FB groups that going any more than another 1” will cause problems due to the suspension - or something… The discussions consensus always seemed to leave it alone, or not go more than another 1”, so I honestly have not dug into it beyond that. Lots of experienced owners in here though that hopefully will give you a more dialed in answer, and details.
Thanks

Around here, when you apply for insurance, the company will ask: "Will you be making any modifications to the vehicle?" If you say: "Yeah, I'm lifting the suspension", they either quote you a much higher premium, or refuse to insure you at all. :)
Thanks, already paying $1500 a year in calif for my hawk so something I should consider

Yep!!! You and @FireDawg77 are the guinea pigs with the RC struts, springs, and shocks setup. There's definitely a lot more cool stuff available now, than when I lifted mine...😁😉😎

MPx Strut Tower Brace (for better cornering & stability) + MFC Upgraded Strut Clamps

RC 2" Strut Lift Kit (installed for 6 weeks now with lots of driving on pavement, dirt, rock & mud & still maintaining TRUE 2" lift over factory)

Also have on 30mm Spacers on all 4 wheels & tires are Falcon Wildpeak AT3 Trail 245/65/18 (basically 30.5" tires)

Will definitely recommend all of these for any looking into lifting

Install went pretty well except I had to cut a rear endlink. Bought Moog endlinks for both sides. The 90 degree zerk fittings won’t work with the Gleaming Alloy Stilettos so I put in straight zerk fittings. Taking it for an alignment next week.

Also discovered the Discount Tire monkeys cross threaded one of my studs so I re-tapped the hole and used one of the studs I had as a spare after putting wheel locks on.

I’ll put the MFC metal collars on after the alignment.

Why not before??? It's literally a 10min job. I would recommend getting everything installed, and then do the alignment...😉😎

Well, the plastic clips were super quick when everything was going back together. If they have to rotate the top mounts for the alignment wouldn’t the MFC clamps rotate?
It shouldn't be an issue, but if you can rotate the plastic ones, that's an issue, that's why we replace those...😉😎

I just had a shop install the kit on my kl and the front is raised by 2.25 and the rear is raised .25 over factory🤔 I'd love to know what the shop did wrong. I'm not getting much info from them. You guys have any theories?
Where are you taking your measurements? at the wheel well fender edge?
