Recently got stuck in a bit of water and started getting a rough idle with stalling and a code for the crankshaft pos sensor on my 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk with the 3.2l V6. I got the replacement part but have had no luck locating it on the engine can anyone else help?

The crankshaft position sensor on a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with a 3.2L V6 engine is located on the side of the engine facing the firewall, approximately mid-point in the engine bay. Accessing it is difficult due to the tight space. Some users suggest it may be necessary to remove the transfer case to reach it. Others suggest trying to access it through the driver's side wheel well, near where the engine and transmission connect. Be aware that the sensor has a red clip that needs to be pulled back to unplug the wire connector, and it's held in place by a 10mm bolt.
