These are a big change coming from the Discoverer AT3 4S tires but I'm very happy with them so far.

Sorry, I think they seriously look like $hit, personally.

Haha.

I look at it this way, unless I'm actually going to take my Cherokee off road, then getting an all terrain type tire is pointless unless all I care about is them looking 'good'. But looking good or cool doesn't translate into good handling, low road noise, good rain/snow traction, etc.

I have Cooper True North snow tires on my Jeep now and they don't look as cool as an AT tire, but they are considerably better tires than the Firestone ATs the Jeep came with. Hell, even though they are snow tires they are still much quieter on the road and handle better.

As to these Cooper Eduramax tires, I put some on my Mom's Equinox because they are all season tires and they have a snowflake rating, unlike most of your typical all season tires. I've been impressed with Cooper tires over the years. If someone has a Cherokee who doesnt go off roading and all they want are all season tires with some snow traction, then these would certainly be ones to consider.

Cooper builds generally good tires from my studies, but that particular tire would not help me. If your Cherokee is stricting a mall crawler with occassional dirt roads they work fine, but I want (sometimes need) a more aggressive tread pattern and really NEED sidewall protection. My current destinations have performed well in the 4.5 years they have been on the TH, but the sidewalls show damage (superficial, but I am VEEEEWWWY careful), so I want something beefier there and for airing down.

I actually like the Cooper tires and had the A/T3's on my 2000 XJ for a couple of years with no complaints. On my KL, it was lifted so I added the 265/65 Dick Cepek Trail Country EXP tires and I can tell you that these tires are excellent in snow, rain, sand and dry pavement and the handling is as good as the Destination A/T's were.

Yes, they look cool, but it's the capability I really care about. I can go almost anywhere with these ties and I will replace these in kind in the event of damage or wear. I kind of like the buzz on the highway really.

I put these Cooper EnduraMax tires on my wife's 2015 Limited back in October and have now been "fortunate" enough to "test" them out in several Minnesota snowstorms. We LOVE these tires! Great acceleration, great stopping, great cornering...all in the snow/ice. We had neither love nor hate for the factory Continentals, but figured we could do Better. We definitely did and recommend these tires for Sport thru Limited trim levels. (while I might love the way these handle, they just wouldn't look "right" on my other Jeep - a Trailhawk - and would probably hurt any future resale value)

Thanks to JeepKL for the good reviews. It's always helpful to see the actual tire on the actual vehicle!
