I have a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with the 3.2L and was looking at purchasing a Wolf Pup 16BHS with a dry weight of 3,097, GVWR 3,877. Is the Jeep up to the job for towing this camper safely with an anti-sway hitch?

Welcome from Utah!!! With a tongue weight of 377lbs and a good weight distributing hitch, I'm going to say that's a great setup. That's a nice little camper!!!😎

While I wouldnt want to tour the country with it. It is within spec.. expect about 8-14mpg towing.
and lots of 3-4-5 gears.

Its about the limit of the jeep, and the weight seems optimistic.

Dry weight of 3100.. only 780lb of additional load available? that goes fast with gear and water/propane etc.

Also on your jeep the payload capacity is around 900-1000lb this includes everything in the jeep + the tongue weight.
so you would be down to about 600lb in the jeep not counting any people(even the driver) or gear in the jeep.

You dont list a location. Towing it up the mountains is different than relatively flat areas.

Also its a fairly long trailer while the cherokee wheelbase is not so that does affect stability.
tail wagging the dog type issue.

Its very do-able to tow it.. but not ideal.

Personally I'd want at least a grand cherokee for that size trailer or a midsize truck.
if towing it extensively and in more challenging terrain I'd want a half ton truck you would get the same towing gas mileage in one as your cherokee.

That's where that learned towing skills come in handy. Yes, if the OP doesn't have much towing experience, I'd take it slow and easy, and get the feel. True, the Cherokee is definitely not the greatest tow vehicle, but it is fully capable with the right driving skills...😎

He last posted August 2021 so I wouldn’t expect a response.
