Throttle body on 2.4L

Has anyone ever applied or even looked at a performance throttle body on the 2.4L engine? Since this is the Multi-air I4, I don't know if it would be a possible upgrade, but it looks like there are some options available.

If something like this is possible, would the engine need to be re-tuned?

I thought that maybe someone here has tried or investigated this, so it seems worthwhile to look here first.

its fuel injected the throttle body isnt a bottleneck, and do you know how the multiair system works?
I have a fair idea, but now I'm wondering if I missed something.

Interesting stuff. The upgrades - Throttle Body, lightweight flywheel - whatever, will be ignored by the ECM because it doesn't see them as beneficial because it was programmed for what was in or on the engine, not what was changed.

I almost went with the lighter flywheel, but saw some stories about the bad harmonics that can be introduced into the engine with that option. Likewise, a larger volume TB won't do exactly what you want unless, like Tyler said, you properly tune the engine. Then there is the Multiair engine which is a different animal anyway.

He's really done a lot of research into this and I haven't seen anything to contradict him.
