By 2017, had FCA addressed the issues with the first generation transmission in the 2015 Model year 3.2L engines? What should I be wary of if I am buying a used 2017 with 68,000 miles?
I had a 2015 Cherokk 3.2L Latitude trim that eventually was sold back to FCA under Lemon Law after the engine blew at 81,000 miles in 2020. Lots of hassle and was soured on the Jeep brand. Fast forward to today and I found clean 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk trim level.
Am I a fool to go back down the rabbit hole and buy another Cherokee KL?? I always found them to be infinitely capable vehicles, but with the potential to bankrupt me with repair bills. When something goes wrong, it was usually a major headache.
