did mine. nothing to it. oil filter is , if i remember right. 24 mm. dont over tighten. drain plug 13mm very easy to get to. piece of cake. mine v6.

 

What I would like to know:
How did you reset the oil life calculation? Is there a button in EVIC?

 

It's a $5 difference between the dealer changing the oil or me. Not worth my time.

Same dealer has a great price on diesel oil change for my Cummins. I'm probably done changing the oil on that too.

 

I have free oil changes for life from my dealer. However that is dino oil. I want to run Royal Purple. If I buy my own they'll do labor and filter for free and use my oil. Or I can pay like 30 extra and get Pennzoil Platinum synthetic from them. My dealership is also like a 70 mile trip onr way though so now I'm into it for gas also. 6 quarts of Royal Purple and a filter from the local Jeep dealer would run me about 50 bucks or about the same as using the Pennzoil Platinum from the dealership. Figure it to be cheaper to do it myself rather than drive all the way over just for that.

probably can get oil change cheaper than doing it yourself. i dont do it for the money. i do it to get it right.

 

How many miles are you all getting between oil changes? I have almost 6000 miles and my dash is still showing 30%.
