I have a low pitched noise, sounds like an alarm/siren noise. Initially thought it was some alarm sound from my cell phone, but it is from my jeep. Its audible but not overly loud. Continues for a couple minutes after I shut off.

i got that too, it is the interior lights, when the lights go off, it stops
if you use ur dimmer switch to turn off the lights, it stops that way too

ya but that noise could last up to 3min and more sometime. How could it be lights. it will never stay on that long. I still don't agree its a normal sound since not all the jeep are doing it ?

I've had my Cherokee for just over two years and just heard the afore mentioned noise for the first time this weekend. The temps have been hovering near 0 and I assumed it had something to do with the cold. What ever it is, I'm not concerned. No one here has experienced any negative effects and my Jeep is still under warranty, so I see no need to be worried.

what is the loud siren wail outside the jeep with the key is turn on or when the engine is on. beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep , it is high pitched like a dog whistle but it is still loud
