Leaking sunroof

I recently had my 2015 trailhawk in the shop for the panoramic sunroof because I noticed during heavy rains some water would leak in on the the sides, it never got inside the vehicle and never seemed to be an issue but I had to take my jeep in for a recall so I figured I?d have them check it out, they told me that the seals were good and it just needed an ?adjustment? which just so happens isn?t covered under warranty, so I went ahead and paid for it. Got it back a week ago and first big storm, boom it?s leaking again and seems to be even worse this time, as I?m driving you can literally hear what sounds like water drops falling into a well, I assume this is the drain in the back, so I take it back to the dealer and they check it out again and supposedly ?tweak? the mounting brackets again but this time they put on report, ?small amount of water leaking is normal?. A. Why didn?t they tell me this before charging for an adjustment originally? It wasn?t leaking in car, just a couple drips here and there and B. Is this normal for some water to leak in during heavy rain? I have a video of it but not sure how to post, I haven?t checked since I just got it back today but it doesn?t seem normal for any water to be leaking in when the roof is closed

I'm not sure if you're saying that any water entered the cabin, but if it did, anything to repair that is covered by the warranty. I've read on this forum of people hearing water sounds during the sunroof draining and that that is "normal" (I never heard such sounds once with the sunroof I had in my 2014 KL), but nothing, not even one drop, should enter the cabin. Sounds like they're crooks. Speak to the head of service or head of the dealership, demand a refund, and demand that they repair the leak properly and under warranty. Or, if it's not too late and you paid by credit card dispute the charge and just go to another dealership.

There is a channel that runs around the perimeter of the movable part of the glass roof. It is normal for the water to get in this channel. There are four drains for this channel: one in each A pillar, and one in each C pillar. If you hear the water sloshing around, then the drains may be partially plugged. On the end of each drain tube is a plastic fitting with a hole facing the rear, under the vehicle. This creates a vacuum and helps flush the water out of the channel.

Water isn?t directly leaking into the cabin but the water is coming through the roof where the side rails are, you can clearly see it dripping on the sides where there is a small u-shaped bent clip, this dealer legit said it?s normal for it to leak even when completely closed, I already got a refund from Chrysler cause the dealer is completely unprofessional and do nothing to help customers out, also leaks aren?t covered under the extended warranty. So basically if you open the sunscreen on the roof and leave the window completely closed you can reach up and touch the water that?s leaking through on the sides and this is supposedly normal according to these crooks, it?s not a ridiculous amount but enough to not be normal, I?m def done with this dealer figured I?d ask here before I go to another dealer
