Hi all, I have the dreaded SVC 4WD light on my dash now, and after physically checking fuses and PTU for anything obvious like cracked case/bad wiring everything looks in order. Only 3 things left at this point is bad DTCM, bad rear Diff Actuator motor thing that bolts into the side of the PTU, or internal PTU failure. I've scoured the internet to see if any one had a write up/ location of DTCM removal, but I've found nothing. Hoping the community can help me out here.

PS is it possible to determine if the Actuator motor is working correctly with any simple test or procedure/pulling it off and inspecting etc..?

Hi all, I have 2014 Trailhawk. Out of warranty (second owner). Was hoping to do some basic inspection/troubleshooting prior to biting the bullet with the dealer, as I found out if anything is wrong with the PTU they just replace the whole unit (which I'm not going to be paying for anytime soon)and I see Jcool mentions the same above which confirms my research. Back to my original question does anyone know where the DTCM is physically located?

Also I have two recalls that I need to have performed V69 & U63. What's the odds a dealership wont charge me for scanning the car since they have to plug into it anyways for the for mentioned updates?
