:crying: Grrrrr! here I was thinking that nothing was going to go wrong with my Trailhawk. Yesterday I was putting some leather conditioner on the seats and then looked at the dash and all I see is a white computer screen...nothing I do brings back my EVIC.

So I rush to the dealer and they can't find anything...no bad codes...etc. So...they ordered a new cluster that will take a week to get..and are going to replace it. The tech that worked on it was a clean cut computer looking guy so that made me feel a little better. He said that he looked it up and it isn't that hard to take out the old one...he wont have to take apart the whole dash etc. just the cluster in front of the steering wheel. But, the thought of him (he is going to do the replace) tearing into my baby is not a good one.

Anyone have any ideas? Just seems weird...I asked about loose connections or something unplugged and he said he couldn't find anything and also he would have gotten a code when he hooked up his computer. Maybe I will look for loose connections myself...

Anyone else have this happen??? Any advice/help would be appreciated.

thanks everyone!

Thanks...they said they did that at the dealership and I would loose all of my presets....they said it didn't work..But, I didn't loose my presets..maybe they actually didn't do that or didn't do it correctly.....???

Thanks guys...I will keep you posted. It seems to me...but how would I know...that it is a computer input issue.....the EVIC has power but is blank...like a computer monitor that is not plugged into a computer....wondering what else I could check.

what about fuses? I assume if it was a fuse then I would have no power to the EVIC.

thanks again!

Hey everyone. Just a followup. I was in yesterday and had my Evic cluster replaced. All went well and the tech did a great job. He showed me what he was going to have to remove etc. It turned out to be an easy job. Took him a little over an hour. Got my Evic back and all is working well. I did run out of gas last week though.. I was without a gas gauge since it is part of the Evic.... My fault though....I should have made sure I had enough gas.

Thanks to all for your support!
