We have a 2015 v6 limited with 92k and noticed a coolant smell then finally a leak. Pressure tested it and saw it's was coming from the upper hose where it connects to the radiator. Ordered the hose n bought some new coolant and had the shop install. Got home last night and noticed a small drip under the car again. Is there some other place the coolant could be leaking from?

I currently am suffering from a coolant leak, and when I originally took the front passenger wheel off to get a better look, it appeared it was coming from the water pump. I scheduled an appt with an independent shop, and asked to have them not only do some routine maintenance (serpentine belt, tensioner, idler pulley), but also to investigated the leak I had.

Turns out, I have two coolant leaks (and as a result, they have to order some more parts, and then everything will be taken care of, so nothing was done which was fine). One is the water pump, but the other is the crossover pipe above the water pump where the thermostat is. It is possible you have a leak either at the water pump, or the crossover pipe for the thermostat. Turns out I have leaks on both, but both coolant hoses themselves that go to the water pump were bone dry, so I knew it wasn't them.

If you're still unsure, I would contact an independent shop you trust, and have them take a look at it to be sure.
Ours is definitely on the driver side. It's dropping down right below the drain valve for the radiator. I did a pressure test and it was blowing right out of the upper radiator hose where it connects to the radiator, literally was able to pressurise it and felt it with my hand. I'm baffled now unless it's the radiator that's damaged. I am going to take it back to the shop we had do the hose. Guy is very good and I'm guessing I should have let him do the diagnosis since he might have been able to see something I wasn't able to. I'll be scheduling an appointment with him this week

Well it seems like the fluid I was seeing was the residual from the original leak. Haven't noticed anything leaking purple yet. Temp has been consistent and no more sweet smell in the garage [emoji16] also got a deal on a set of geolanders A/T the wife is loving them 235s
