Hi, I have a 2022 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with 19,389 miles on it. I bought this Jeep in July 2023. Not my first Jeep, I currently also own my 3rd Grand Cherokee and in the past I’ve also owned 2 Wranglers and a Compass. In May 2024 my Trailhawk started making a clicking noise when turning the wheel either driving or idling. I took it to the dealership; they could hear the noise and said it was the brake pads gripping the rotors, couldn’t find any issues with the suspension or any signs of wearing. Had it checked again June 5th and was told the same thing. Took it back again July 10th since the noise was a lot louder and worse. This time they replaced the knuckle assembly. Picked up Jeep on July 15th and after driving for an hour the noise was back. Took it back again on July 31st, said it was the driver side strut. Replaced the strut on Aug 12th. Went to pick up Jeep, started it, turned the wheel each way and the noise was louder than when I dropped it off. I refused to take it and was given a rental. From Aug 12th until Sep 10th they replaced the rack and pinion and a spring and mount on the newly replaced strut. Picked Jeep up on Sep 10th and can still here the noise. I had the GM come out to listen to the noise both idling and driving. He told me it was road noise because it was a smaller vehicle, when I pointed out the noise is there when idling and turning the wheel he told me to turn up the radio and AC and then if I still hear it, bring it back. I have had Jeep Wave involved since July 15th and have an open case still. That has been another fiasco, I am on the 2nd Advisor since the first one is no longer there. This one told me to take it to another dealership. Tried that but so far can’t find one that wants to look at it. Sorry, this is so long, just really frustrated at this point. Any suggestions on what to look for next?
