This is probably a FAQ, but looking through the site and a quick Google Search didn't turn up what I was looking for. I have been looking at getting a used Cherokee for about a month now, and think I have finally settled on a 2015 Trailhawk (will be test driving one tomorrow). I haven't been able to find a good, concise guide to what the different 4x4 modes do exactly. The best thing that I found so far was the
that is on Jeep.com. However, I feel that I digest that information better in text form. Is there a description somewhere of what exactly (mechanically, not in sales speak) the different modes that the Selec Trak dial/button does to the system?

Thanks!
