Is anybody here going to be going to the Winter 4x4 Jamboree at Sand Hollow in January? It will be my first time going and I am really looking forward to it.

Lots of good trails down there. I've done everything up to their 7s. As always, the Snowhawk impressed a lot of folks and made believers out of the worst nay sayers. I was going to go down with a friend from Cheyenne, but thought better of it. It's a great time, have fun.

Get on the trails early, they fill up fast. Registration started a couple of weeks ago.

Yep, I've got both. The Jamboree website has descriptions and ratings. I think they even added a few new routes this year.

I have no mods, so am taking it easy for my first time. I have already registered for the three trails that I will be doing. @Snowhawk2015, I love that you have done up to 7's there. I think the highest one for me is a 4 this year. It will be my first time on sand, so another learning experience.

As you may have noticed, their website is setup to screen drivers based on your vehicle configuration. For example, you can't even register for Fault Line (6) unless you have 33" wheels. So may be my tires were slightly over stated, but the Aussie+ lift made them look bigger so I was in.

While there is a lot of sand at Sand Hollow, most of the trails are rock or loose rock. See above link.

I would like to give Milt's Mile, Plan B, Double Sammy, and Triple 7 a try some time. Sooooo, maybe we could organize a private trip. What say you @edge600?
