I just got my sport with AD1 about a week and a half ago from eastern chrysler on main. so far taken it offroading in ontario, and got it stuck near lac du bonnet last weekend (the 2 foot tall grass became a swamp REALLY quick)

very happy with it. TH looked awesome, but this is what I was able to get. hopefully someone will develop some "extras" for us guys with the lower models...lol

I've only dealt with Pembina Chrysler (where I purchased the vehicle from) and both with this and my previous vehicle (Jeep Compass), I've received great service. Case in point, I had my vehicle in recently for an autopac covered repair, but also wanted my tires done. Because MPI was covered 1/2 the cost of one tire, they offset the price of the other three to match the cost of the 4 for the price of 3 tire special that was going on. And the parts manager even went out of his way to find me a tire that would work with my rims but had a thicker tread depth that I had wanted put on my cherokee.

Last night around 10:45 I saw a white Trailhawk with black rims at an intersection on the western side of the city. Just wondering if it was a member here or not.

I am up here for the weekend with my girlfriend and today alone I had 17 KL sightings. Most were limited models, two were Trailhawks. Lots of them roaming the urban jungle up here. I also noticed very few had tow packages on them.

I have waved to many, no response. But to be fair, most drivers looked like they did not care about "the jeep community"....

Hard to believe I'm starting to look for winter tires while it was 33C today! Have any of you fellow Winnipegers installed winter tires last winter? I'm considering Blizzak DM-V2 or Toyo observe gsi 5. Any experience with these brands?

I'm not in Winnipeg, but I installed the Toyo Observe GSI 5 last winter. Very happy with them. Better than my Michelin x-ICE I had in the past on snow,, and comparable on ICE. Last winter was a very cold one here in Quebec, and they were sticking pretty well at very low temp.

It is the time to check even at 33c. I bought mine in late-September last year, and I got the last 4 ones from the Toyo warehouse, and they were unsure when the next batch would have come in. Took few weeks to get my rims and TPMS

Depends what you are used to... I tried them for fun in the first November snow storm last year... and found them slippery... Went in the garage, swap them to my Toyo, and what difference.

Thanks Einstein14 for the input. I'm hoping to mount snow tires to a set of Replika R165 wheels. I'll probably not install TPMS . I recall reading Canadian builds will go into a winter mode if the 4 sensors are undetected. Any truth to this?
Those are very nice... last year there were not much options for wheels... and you are right, the TPMS are not required for us... it should go in winter mode.

TPMS was a pain on my CRV, which I had to drive with a light on in the dash all summer, as I needed the TPMS during winter in order to be able to disable traction control when getting stuck in snow :|

So glad with this Jeep, I swap the wheel and no need for reprogramming... It is majic
