So wait, you're going to have two? Now I'm jealous.
On Order: True Blue Cherokee Limited I-4, ADII, Fully loaded except Sunroof and Tech group. Supposed to arrive end of Dec or Early Jan... The waiting is killer....
If my Trailhawk is going to ship on Dec. 11, they had better get to building soon! Trying to be patient, but it is a real test. I know it is just an estimated ship date, but I have faith in them. Several others on MOTS are scheduled to ship around the same time and they are still in D1 Production Scheduled Status, too. I sure am hoping to have it by Christmas.

My Limited was built 2 days after its expected ship date, in one morning, and then delivered 2 days before it was estimated to be at my dealer. LOL

I checked with my dealer this am re my 11/11 TH order. He checked his computer and advised I had a ship date as of today, but that my TH had not yet been produced, so right now I have no idea of when I might receive it. I originally thought it would be after New Years.

Seguerski, looks like our Cherokees may be side by side, or at least close (according to MOTS)! What are your speculations on inspection time/time to ship?

With the holidays coming up, does anyone know if the Toledo plant will be on shutdown for a week or two?

Rumor has it that Chrysler authorized overtime so they will be working straight through the holidays to they and catch up with the back orders. They are still on tap to try and pump out 500,000 Cherokees next year.

I don't believe they want to build 500,000 Cherokees. The article I read said they wanted to produce 500,000 vehicles in Toledo next year but they also produce the Wrangler in Toledo and I believe that was included for the total.

May I suggest you go read Allpar which is considered to be the authority on all things Chrysler?
May I suggest that maybe Allpar doesn't have all the info. Yes they have a lot of info and some of it is correct. But here is a statement from Toledo.

"Chrysler plans to build more than a half-million vehicles at its Toledo Assembly Complex next year, The Toledo Blade reports. Plant manager Zach Leroux told the Toledo Rotary Club that the plant could produce as many as 506,000 Jeep models in 2014, which would be a significant increase from the 275,000 units made last year."

Now I couldn't come up with what you had read on AllPar so I went to where I got the info I posted about. I don't claim to be the know all about what is happening but I did read it and the statement above shows where I got my info.

The plant where they build the Cherokee once it reaches full production they will only be building 1,000 units a day so on a 5 day work basis that would be 260,000 max we know they are working overtime on Saturday which gives a possible 6,000 a week total 312,000 but since they don't work every Saturday and have 12 holiday's a year that would bring the max down. That is why I made the statement I don't believe they want to make 500,000 Cherokee's a year. I will change that to they may want to make 500,000 Cherokee's a year but at the current rate it is impossible. I don't try to sound like an authority on all that happens but I do understand production totals.

Oh yeah I will also post what my job was and it is also where I get some of my info.
I retired from Mopar Parts in 2004. I wish I had kept a copy of the message sent to us from Sergio (probably his office) but I read and deleted it, that is where I got my original info about Cherokee build data.

My Trailhawk was ordered on May 5th 2014.
It is now over a month later, I haven't received any emails from vots.
I called the dealer they said the vots site is down but vehicle is in C status (whatever that means). Is this normal?
