I disagree. Down here we get snow/ice about 3 days a year. That is not worth the investment in a different set of wheels and tires. I will just stay home and not worry about it.

I will just stay home and not worry about it.I think anyone driving in any city, town, county that gets snow should have winter tires. The initial investment of having all season or summer tires for warm weather and winter tires for winter is well worth it.
It's been proven that with winter tires you will be in far more control of your vehicle in winter than with running all seasons.
Not so antsy any longer. Received the following on 9/11/13:Has anyone had their order progress from "scheduled" to the production sequence? Today marks 4 weeks since my first (and only) email from Chrysler (considerably longer than "a few days to 2 weeks" they predicted as the normal delay). Getting antsy now!
Hopefully mine will show up soon, as the dealer indicated that would fall within my estimated build date.I just received my second email that I am officially scheduled for production to start in the next two weeks.
yea in your case its likely not worth it for those few days.I disagree. Down here we get snow/ice about 3 days a year. That is not worth the investment in a different set of wheels and tires. I will just stay home and not worry about it.
So going off of the 10 day turn around time that was mentioned before, you should be able to get your Cherokee by mid to late octoberI just received my second email that I am officially scheduled for production to start in the next two weeks.
My mistake!I think you misunderstood what I said. It takes about 10 days once the factory releases it for it to arrive in the DFW area. By that I mean once it has passed inspeciton and is scheduled for shipping.
I did not say it takes 10 days to build it and get it to my area.
Mine too! Hope they do mine first!Going by that timeline I should be building by the beginning of next week. Thanks for being my timeline guinea pig.
