I keep telling @Seanette, “It's a Jeep; it's supposed to be dirty.”

Oddly, ours was in pristine condition, when we got it. No scratches or dents or anything. About 45,000 miles, about four years old. It probably never set foot off of pavement before we got it.

I tend to think its previous owner must, at some point, have realized exactly what I created this meme to express; that the right owner for this Jeep was someone who would take it off road.

Sorry Bob but I don’t agree :) I bought my 14 TH 3 years ago because of what it could do but also because I loved how it looked, the flares, the lift, the bumpers and just the more aggressive stance. And it’s the perfect size for the wife, dog and I. The low range was really “just in case”, to me it’s just the best looking car in the range.
The Limited model over here is the same but no low range or locker, the same trim etc inside but is far more ordinary looking outside not having any of the above things I like on the TH and the cost difference was hardly anything…

A worse offender is a wrangler that never gets dirty. Down the street, I have these people who moved into a house recently. They have all these stickers on their vehicles about offroad life or whatever. And then there's this tricked out wrangler, rock rails, shocks, tires, the whole bit... and.........

It's NEVER dirty.

It just sits there with this cover on it.. Oh it moves though..... It moves from their driveway, to the curb, back to the driveway, back to the curb. I mock this vehicle every day as I walk my daughter to school. My cherokee trailhawk, has seen more dirt and mud in one weekend, then this tricked out wrangler has ALL YEAR.

Pathetic.

It's just for show, a status symbol. It doesn't really do anything, nor do they.

That was just a test. It is a long story. Can't use metal hooks, they can be projectiles. Need to use a soft shackle insead, then I can use my Trailhawk recovery strap.
The Subaru does not have recovery points, it has tow eyes. Can't 'run' with the real Jeeps if I don't have a real recovery point.
