Looking for a place to have Blue Ox base plate for a 2015 Trailhawk installed in the NCal area. . Someone who has had previous experience installing one on a Trailhawk has been advised.

Affordable RV in Newcastle, CA has installed base plates on THs. I realize it would be a bit of a drive for you, but they are an excellent shop. They have done a lot of work on my coach, and it's a 120 mile drive over Donner for me (I live in Carson City, NV)

Thank you, Not that bad of a drive might stop on the way to Tahoe. I'll give them a call. My guy down here did my last install on my GC, but has never done a Cherokee Trailhawk. He didn't know what a TH was. They say you should get somebody whose done them before.

You have probably already had your base plate installed, but just in case you haven't, I have a great contact for you: RV Specialists in Santa Rosa, CA, (707) 527-6778. The owner is Curtis, who does impeccable work. He has installed the baseplate and wiring on my new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, as well as numerous upgrades to my coach including inverter, power awning, and automatic satellite installations. I first found him because he is referred by Tiffen Motorhomes as an authorized service center. If you go there for any work, tell him I sent you.

Thanks Tim, I've been away and haven't had my base plate installed yet. I will check with Curtis next week. Nice to know he was referred by Tiffin, because thats also what I will use to tow the TH.
