So, my Jeep usually sits most days with the front end pointing downward let’s say on a not quite 45 degree angle. This morning I was headed out to fill up the tires…and I noticed that my front windshield had a Lot of moisture on the Inside. ?? Then I pulled out the seatbelt and it definitely felt wetter than usual which is really strange since it hasn’t rained or snowed in some time. Wondering where that is coming from? Yeah, I have a full pannaramic sunroof which hasn’t been opened in probably 4 months ( I don’t even open the inside shade ) what huge waste of money imho …no other wet carpet or filled up cubbies, no water in the spare tire well. Etc. no staining on the headliner….

Check/clean the sunroof drain tubes. Make sure the drain holes in the doors are open. Probably just push a tooth pick or wooden skewer into the hole(s).
There is a drain for the A/C condensor that can get clogged.
Check the cabin air filter, make sure it is dry. Probably just put a new filter in, very carefully.
Check for water under the rear trunk floor, especially the left side where the PLGM is located.
Maybe have a good body shop do this, it is a lot of work. They may have other ideas about why it is leaking. Like body welds that are not caulked correctly.
TSB 23-015-16 REV A applies to your Cherokee. "Subject: Water On Front Carpt OR in Rocker Side Sill". Find it online or get it from your Jeep dealer. A body shop can probably deal with it better than your Jeep dealer.
Be sure to check the welded seams under the rear hatch. Near where the struts connect to the body. There are pictures on this Forum someplace.
Good to check all of the above just to make sure.

The seatbelt is tightly wound in the retractor. It might take weeks to dry out thoroughly if it gets soaked. Just a thought... Either way, it sounds like water is getting in through either a sunroof gap or other gap.
Also (although highly unlikely), the rear washer hose runs up the A-pillar across the top (above the tensioner areas under the B-pillar) on to the rear where it goes to the lift gate. If you use the rear washer and the hose has a break inside the cabin, that could cause moisture. It's very long shot I would think (I almost never use my rear washer) whereas the sunroof or other break (e.g. the cracked weld seams around the lift gate) are common.
