Durham here, yeah I know about 5 hrs away but, I am only 2 hrs from Uwharrie where the October Jeep Jamboree is going to be. Check out GSMNP there are some trails not too far from you.Is anyone on here around the area of WNC? I live in Franklin, which is about an hour West of Asheville, NC.
I'd love to get together with some other Cherokee owners and see what my Latitude is capable of.
Which sliders and who is doing the install, just curious.Im in Greensboro, hoping to get my sliders installed in the next week or so then find some willing participants to hit up Uwharrie![]()

I got the rocky road step rail ones. And I'm going to do most of the install myself, and get a shop to drill the necessary holes.Which sliders and who is doing the install, just curious.
Wish you well in your endeavors.I got the rocky road step rail ones. And I'm going to do most of the install myself, and get a shop to drill the necessary holes.
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to it. Want to come help? Lol, I'll provide beer and pizza!Wish you well in your endeavors.
Being just 30 minutes away and the offer of beer and pizza, sounds temping. Granted you can come here and help my wife and I tile a kitchen floor,Yeah, I'm not looking forward to it. Want to come help? Lol, I'll provide beer and pizza!
That sounds like a fair trade, but being I've never owned a home, or laid any tile, I'd prob be more of a problem than a help, and frankly, if I'm going to screw up a floor, I'd much rather it be my own. How about a compromise, and we do a uwharrie run in a few weeks? lol.Being just 30 minutes away and the offer of beer and pizza, sounds temping.
