Hi All!
I have a Cherokee Limited on order since 11/4.
The Jeep Vehicle Order Tracking System (VOTS) is still showing "Production Scheduled" as it has for 1 month. However, the dealer says that it is shipping tomorrow, 12/9. Anybody else had this issue , where the system isn't updating?

Same exact issue. It's been three weeks in D1 status for me and my dealer says my car will ship next week. Crazy!

VOTS only updates when there is movement on thr vehicle. The estimated ship date is just that an estimate and was put in when it entered D1. Once it enters production that date will change in the system. The dealer can't see anything other then what Chrysler puts into the database.

I ordered on 11/9/13. The dealer told me the expected ship date is 12/11/13, VOTS says D1 since 11/21/13, MOTS says D1, too. Good news is, it only takes 24 hours or so to build one. Once they start, ready to ship should come quickly.

I wrote Chrysler Group LLC about delivery dates. The reason I wrote is I see a number of people who ordered after I did (11/2) that say they have a delivery date and I asked my dealer and they said they don't have one for me. Well here is the reply I got from Chrysler.


It is great to read of your interest in Jeep.

There are many factors that can affect the production and delivery of a
new vehicle order that cannot be predicted, therefore, we are always
reluctant to provide specific timing. Some dealerships may provide a
estimated delivery date based on previous ordered vehicles, but may not
be accurate.

We encourage you to visit our VOTS at http://www.jeep.com/vots on a
periodic basis for updates.

You are always welcome to reply back to this email and I will respond
back to you as promptly as I can. If you prefer, you can also reach us

So I guess it updated over the weekend because even Jeep


Status showed it as D1 yesterday. So should be getting something later this week or next. Wife will be happy but she won't have her 4x4 anymore, her choice so just get FWD because she felt the MPG to be more important, she always says if I need 4WD to get somewhere then I don't need to go.

Lots of useful information.
Questions I have:
I went into D1 (Cherokee limited)on 11/20 with ship date listed as n/a (mots).
Vots system has been at production scheduled from 11/20.

#1. What has been your experience of production scheduled to build
to delivery.
It seems to be 3 weeks from D1 to production of late.
#2 Has anyone else had N/A for est delivery date and been on schedule of 3 weeks production scheduled to production?

Texas, my order date was 11/4. It said Production Scheduled in VOTS all the way til this morning, when it went to Trim.

I'm assuming one or more components of my order are what has held it up until now...

possible culprits:

• panoramic sunroof
• cloth/vinyl/leather seats
• remote cd drive

my bet is on the roof/seats as both were/still are in short supply...

I ordered on 11/5 and started checking VOTS on 11/11/ (when I got the email) and it has been saying Production Scheduled since 11/11. I did the Jeep Garage membership and that shows Production Scheduled on 11/20 and my estimated delivery date is still listed as N/A.

I ordered Limited 4x4 with panoramic sunroof, leather seats and technology package. I'm hoping by the end of the year but it feels like I'm never going to get it. Those of you that ordered back in August/September, can't imagine your wait.
