Hi, I'm sorry you're having issues with the download. Can you please confirm that you're using a USB larger than 4GB? We would recommend using the Kingston brand for the best results.

I followed directions and downloaded to a usb. When I try to load it into my 2017 Jeep Cherokee, it says 'files not supported'.
I have searched for solutions and have done everything I can find. I added one item at a time to the usb and tried to load it that way. Same files not supported message no matter what I try. It is a new usb, no other files on it.
Please give me any suggestions. This is driving me crazy!
Does anyone know what the update does? It says it's for the GPS. Do I even need it? It is update 18.45.01.
Thanks for any help!
Who knows? It's apparently too much trouble for FCA to take 10 seconds to issue a note stating what the updates change.Probably has something to do with the GPS losing its mind after the Daylight savings time update. Mine has lost its mind unfortunately. All old iphones also had this problems apparently. Sounds like I will need to download this as well.

What system software are you running? If it's below 18.45.01, you probably are experiencing the GPS rollover bug. Go to driveuconnect.com > Support > Software Update and check for the latest software.I have had similar issue recently with the gps. The car tracks through woods and lakes and the vocal prompts do not respond. Is there a way for me to reset the gps somehow? I don’t see it in the manual.
What exactly are you updating? System software or map database? The GPS rollover bug is fixed by updating the system software.I have tried twice to update. Two different flash drives and lots of time. Navigation screen will not load at all. Shows the blue globe and does nothing. Uconnect customer service has been awful and I was scolded by the last rep. Dealers don’t have appointments available so upset.

Hi, it sounds like your Uconnect system needs to be updated. The files for software level 18.45.01 are currently available on driveUconnect.com. This update will ensure proper GPS functionality. I would recommend checking if this update is available for your vehicle. If so, you will be able to download the software to a USB and update your vehicle at home. Nope, I also have a 2018 and needed the update. They're obviously having problems with their database as mine also said it was up to date when I checked the VIN, but it was still running the older software and NAV was out of whack.Checked the VIN numbers, and it says up to date? Must be
a pre-2018 update???
