Have never seen this posted before, but my Uconnect screen seems to have
a bubble forming at the top of the screen. I have to make an appointment to
take it in. They said you can not just replace the screen, but the whole radio.
Of course the Jeep has 37,600 miles on it so the 3/36K is out. I hope the maxcare
kicks at the very least...

Yes, there have been a few threads like this, just hard to find, the screen layers are separating, most recent is this one (I think) Why and what is this?
To bad ours isn't like the newer Jeep refreshes where the screen is a separate piece from the head unit.

Oh man! Post #4 looks really bad. Mine will probably get worse, I just hope FCA
takes care of it being just out of warranty. Plus yeah, the screen should be replaceable
just like on a laptop!

Just made an appointment, and they admitted to seeing the screens de-laminate.
They said being so close to the warranty they should be able to take care of it. Hoping
for the best on December 1st!

So I got a call today, and they couldn't get it replaced under, "Good will."
Instead it's only $100 covered by Lifetime Maxcare. I guess $100 is better
than $1,000! They say 1-3 weeks out, we'll see....

We had this happen to our 2018 a few months ago. Luckily we bought the extended warranty so it only costs us $200 and they replaced the whole radio.
