I'm a newbie with Uconnect.

Is there a way to turn the radio "off"? My wife asks me that every time she drives it.

There is a mute button but you have to push it each time you restart the Cherokee.

I have been using the mute button, just wondered if there was a traditional "off" setting.

We are just getting the hang of using our Android phones with the system.

I would call their support... they actually have great customer support.

The simple answer is no.

I asked the same question on our test drive. The answer is no because in the traditional sense, the radio is not a separate unit that would make sense to turn off. It's so integrated into the uconnect system that there is nothing separate electronically to turn off. A new paradigm.
