RE: 2015 Latitude 2.4l

Lost Bluetooth & USB capability to play stored music from Android phone SD card. When accepting code to allow Bluetooth, and display says connecting, it doesn't ever connect. Phone then shows as a connected device, but doesn't play like it always did the past 5 years. Believe display previously said USB ERROR too. Anyone with any ideas, and/or know how to do a full factory default reboot of the system? Thank you kindly. Dave in FL

I'm sorry you're dealing with this and I've had different support depending on who you reach via Jeep Connected Services. One thing they've advised me to do is to hold the power button on the infotainment panel and eventually it will reboot. I haven't found it helpful, but it is one of their troubleshooting steps.

Thanks, but oddly, there is no power button that I know of, just a 'screen off' button.

That's where was seeking the hard boot process where you pull fuze/disconnect battery and you lose all radio presets, time, date, all that, and then have only heard about either holding 2 of the radio buttons, and/or 2 of the steering wheel buttons. Nothing resolved.

Still haven't learned of the correct/exact process to do that, with the buttons in my '15 Chero Lat., where you get the full hardboot factory reset of the Unconnect, which may involve getting the video display to a diagnostic mode.

Holding the center of the volume and tuner knobs should simply reboot the system keeping all of your settings.

If you want to restore everything to factory default, go to Apps > Settings > Reset > Restore Settings. That should wipe everything back to factory default. (If you have factory NAV, it will not affect the maps version that is loaded, nor will it affect software version of the radio)

I should also add that if everything was working fine and suddenly you had these issues, it could also be because of a software update on your phone. Because of my work, I run a lot of beta version of iOS and Android on my phones, and it constantly breaks connectivity/features with Uconnect. I've even seen it happen with GA updates that aren't even beta. If I'm patient, it's usually fixed with the next update of phone software.

Just throwing that out there if you've done an update to your Android device lately.
