Hey hi I wanted to purchase some wheel spacer for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee trailhawk I wanted to know what is a good brand and what size I should use so I won’t hit the inner fender
Trailhawk wheels have +31mm offset while non Trailhawk wheels have +42mm. The higher the number (positive) means the tire sits further inside. So a TH wheel sets the tire a little more outside than a non TH wheel. This is important when considering spacers/adapters. A spacer is like negative offset because it sets the tire more outside. So... take a non TH wheel at +42mm and add a 1/2'' spacer (12mm) and you get tire placement just like a regular TH wheel (+42mm - 12mm spacer = +30mm offset... close enough to +31mm).
If you're running the factory wheel and tire size, Crown Automotive's 3/4" spacer will work fine. You can buy through Quadratec. Very nice product on par with Bora.
Do you think this 3/4” will damage my suspension or my alignment
