I was able to get out for the afternoon in north and south "4 mile" in Buena Vista. Encountered dirt, sand, mud, streams, rocks and rain. I was able to try just about every mode of driving and all went well. I would rate the trail mostly easy and sometimes moderate difficulty so I pretty much kept it in AUTO. I thought SAND/MUD kept the revs higher than I needed for the terrain. There was only 2 spots where I switched to 4LO and Locked, that did the trick. Overall I was impressed with the handling, seemed a few steps above my lifted '01 Cherokee. Steering didn't feedback, suspension was excellent, never bottomed out (and I was pushing it after a while), clearance was good....no scraping....and the satellite stereo was rockin' ! And..........there were no klunks, bangs, grinds or slips......everything seemed to work as designed! My confidence in the Cherokee went up a few notches!

The only "trail badge" I got was opening the door and hitting a rock at Carnage Gulch.........figures!

Looks like fun. I was just in the Pagosa Springs area last week for a little vacation.
Didn't have the TH though. It's not big enough for the entire family.

Colorado is awesome! However, I tried to take a few of my local trails around Pikes Peak last weekend and all the entries to the offroad areas are closed because of flooding or forest fire damage. Headed to the Breckenridge area in a few weeks. We'll see what kind of trouble I can get into around there!

By then Mosquito pass may be open.
Come over Hosier pass, head up from South Park, over to Leadville, back up 91 to Copper and Brek!

If ya do it, PM me, maybe we can meet.

Hanging out in Ouray CO this week. Did all the honeydo's so I was cut loose to wheel this morning! Headed out of Ouray early and drove over Corkscrew Gulch. This place is awesome! The Corckscrew Gulch is an easy/moderate trail that gets harder, steeper, screwy, and steep at the top!

Put the TH in 4LO and Lock from the get go. Headed up the trail and felt like I was glued to the mountain! The TH never missed a beat! Got to the top and made a right, wheeled down about a mile to a dead end......uh oh......lost already! Drove back and decided to press on and wing it. The next intersection when straight up ( I think to California Gulch) so I took the down road and it lead to Silverton. Going down steep grades in hill decent assist was awesome, let off the throttle and it just crawled/creeped down, touch the throttle and it would speed up, no brakes required.

Overall I was extremely happy how the TH performed, I give it "exceeds expectations"
Happy wheeling!
