very exciting! a question just occurred to me. when we use google maps via our phone, is there an option to view the map in satellite view? that would be cool when off road where there are no roads
Yes, I can do satellite view on my Android Auto right on the Uconnect screen...😎

I would definitely not be comfortable running over 100mph in any Cherokee, even with Z Rated performance tires. I would love to drive my Shelby on the Autobahn though, at least once before I die. He doesn't even hit 6th gear until he gets to 270 K/PH (168 mph)...😍😁😉

Speaker upgrade does wonders as well. We don't have the greatest speakers in our Cherokees to begin with. I have the Alpine Premium 9 Speaker system, and even those were 💩. I replaced the door speakers with REAL Alpine R Series, and some Pioneer speakers in the dash and rear pillars. Difference of night and day...😎

If you aren't going to be helpful and keep making snide comments, why are you commenting?
You're right, I don't know anything about hardwired dashcams, or Teyes products... Hey @Gary Kline help a brother out!!!
Carry on...😁😎

Thanks @Flybynightcru! So same then with the T'EYES (and by extension, any unit that supports Android Auto. It's just a matter of whether the source device supports the functions in the app you're looking for)
Ya, that's all I use on Google Maps is satellite view. I like to see everything...😉😎

Well, got my 2k 360 in today for my 18 cherokee and as of now I couldn't be more confused. Granted, the Jeep is in the shop so I can't take stuff apart to look at the car, but I'm not sure how much of a difference that will make.

First, Are there any guides on installation that
  1. Are actually in English
  2. Are longer than 2 minutes
  3. Actually cover the Jeep cherokee (not the Grand Cherokee)
  4. Cover extra stuff like the 360 camera installation and wiring
That's why I don't buy stuff from AliExpress, Temu, or Wish...🤔😉😎

For me though, the non functional heated steering wheel is a deal breaker. Sigh....

Do they ever issue firmware updates to the unit?
Losing any functions would be a deal breaker for me. I'd have to spend the extra money on the Kenwood setup...😎
