As some people know, we picked up a new to us 2015 JKU Rubicon over the weekend. I have never been so insulted in my life dealing with a dealership. If anyone has ties to the dealership, I'm sorry, but I can't believe how they treated us.

North York Chrysler. After reading 90% of excellent reviews, we thought we'd be ok dealing here. Not a freakin' chance. The small dealership in my hometown with terrible reviews treats me like royalty. I expected something down the middle, but that's not what we got. The service was terrible. The lies, dismissals of stuff I pointed out, and flat out don't give a crap attitude was unreal. The inability to give us a definite timeline for pickup. They may have gotten our business this time, but I will NEVER step foot in that place again.

Unfortunately I feel as if this is now the norm. No matter the service, customer service quality is on a severe decline.. Sorry.

I can only partially agree. We visited a couple other big dealerships before landing at this one, and the sales staff at both other locations were great. Very friendly and willing to help. Both locations called us within a half hour of each visit to offer us other options. Now, can't say for sure what the service would have been like after the sale, which is usually where problems arise too.

Is this where we're supposed to say sorry to hear that... and by the way this is a Cherokee forum. >:D

Seriously - sorry to hear that. I've guess I've been lucky. We bought our TH in a mid-sized town in TX and dealership was really what you said you'd hoped for - mostly middle of the road, but I'd have to say on the higher end of service/communication. We moved and I now get it serviced in a small central IL town and this dealership rocks! Great comms, great/timely service and plain old friendly. I think it has a LOT more to do with the owner/dealer than any brand.

My normal dealer is great ,but I bought a vehicle from another dealer a few months ago and that as soon as I signed to buy it, everybody ignored me and if you remember I posted it on here and not going rehash it, but I feel your pain.

It's a complete hit or miss. I had a decent experience on my Cherokee. I recommended a friend go there when he was looking for a JKU, and they were dismissive and clueless with him. Completely inexcusable. I almost want to say they lost a sale when I go back for my oil change. Morons.

On the other hand, we just bought my wife a Mini, and that was the hands-down best experience buying a vehicle EVER. No haggling, no "have to go talk to my manager", nothing. Just here's the car, here's a bunch of extras, here's a free maintenance package, "oh your friend just bought one and recommended you come here, DISCOUNT!". So yeah, pretty amazing.

My in-laws dealt with their other company (Caledon Chrysler) and had an amazing experience too. Maybe it's an age thing...We're both young-ish (I'm 31 look like I'm 19, she's 26 looks young too) but that's still no good reason in this day and age...Had there been another similarly spec'd Rubicon anywhere else in the province, we were leaving it there.

I feel like most dealerships aren't interested in actually selling cars. Can't tell you how many times I've been ignored because I look young for my age.

Nice, we also have a Cherokee and a mini S

I don't care much about buying experience but its the service department.
Mini (or vw / audi / mb / bmw) all kick jeep dealers rear end.

I cannot believe how rude they are (been to two, one at each end of the city, both I don't want to return again)_
