I'm digging the shock mount extension bracket. I'm really surprised nobody figured out that we really need that. With a 2" spacer in the rear, the shocks are topped out just jacking the back of the car up, and I'm going to say now after thinking about it more, I'm willing to bet it's limiting full extension of the rear suspension. Those brackets put the shocks right back in spec for proper compression and extension. If they don't sell those separately, I'm having some made, soon...😎

If I remember right, its not the shock that limits the travel, but rather the rear stabilizer bar. Its been awhile since I added my lift, but if I remember correctly, that was removed in order to take out the spring, while the shock was in place the entire time.
Yes, you have to remove that to install the spacer, but the shocks themselves are still extended almost 2" farther than stock ride height. Think about it...😎

It doesn't really matter much if they ride farther out, the problem with shocks is when they don't extend (or compress) as much as the suspension will allow. That's not the case with the KL.
I think it's pretty close to full extension when a rear wheel is off the ground. I'm going to look into it a little more...😎

What specificaly are the 'new' Trailhawks? What is the model year cutoff to be considered 'new'?
Good damn question...There was the subtle cosmetic change in the front facia and the tailgate in 2019, but I'm pretty sure that the suspension geometry and components, and the whole rest of the car are exactly the same from 2014-2022...😎

Are there any reviews on the forum of the Teraflex in a pre-2019 Trailhawk (didn't find any with search.) Wondering if any negative effects on suspension, such as articulation limitations or lack of sufficient rebound travel.
I don't think anyone on here has tried it yet. It's only been available for a few weeks...😎

I just ordered this kit and plan on putting some 245 70 17's on my 2019 Trailhawk. I will post pics following the install.
Excellent!!! Definitely keep us posted on the build. I would recommend ordering a Rear Wheel Centering Kit and top reinforcement strut collars from Hazard Sky or MFC as well, and do it all together. Proper Installation is Key to Drama Free...😎

There it is the Teraflex 2 inch on my 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk . Easy install and the shock bracket extension was a piece of cake. Still need to put some strut Spacers on as soon as they arrive. For the price and ease of install I highly recommend the Teraflex.
I would recommend a Rear Wheel Centering Kit also. See how the rear wheels are sitting towards the front of the wheel well??? This will alleviate this...😎

From the look kit pictures, there is a centering kit on it. I agree the back tire looks forward a good bit. I went back to look at mine, and the rear definably looks more centered.
Well, if there is a spacer, it needs to be a little bigger I think...😎

IDK, there doesn't seem to be any good lifts for the KL. I'd shell out more money if
Old Man Emu had a real 3" suspension lift, with new springs and struts.

Come to think of it, my son's TH has something going on up front. It was like
this when we bought it.

Son's 2018 TH.

My 2019 TH........ (Trombone! Wha, waaaaaa.....)

I really don't think 2" and a 1/2" bigger tire are going to net me the same results
when I installed my 3" OME kit, and my 31" FireStone Destination M/T tires...

Lift kit tires.

Other stuff, don't care anymore...

Wish I could figure out how to do a full suspension lift...

2" and a tad bigger tire won't help me much....

I got stuck 3 times screwing around. :ROFLMAO: 2" wouldn't have mad a difference.

Ya, that always sucks when the ruts are deeper than the skidplates are tall...😉😎
