Suspension and Tire Upgrades

Hi All,

Last year I started the long process of designing where I wanted to take my 2020 Trailhawk's suspension and such. Below are the items I ended up going with , thought I would share this with the group in case anyone is looking at similar.

Parts finally all came together a few weeks ago and she is all finished up. I ended up just over 3" in lift on top of the already existing trail hawk specs, I expect it to settle in a bit over time. I also had the pinch weld mod done at same time since they are in the wheel wells anyway, get these cleared out for some 32" KO2's. Looks are a bit deceiving , the roof now sits level with a lot more vehicles and it feels like im driving a truck now tbh , my wife is asking for rails next lol. I love the way it came together and these tires kick ass over the OEM's for sure.

1. Rear Lower Control Arm Replacements - This is a large fail point on Cherokee's so I opted for a set of Gleaming Alloy stiletto LCA's with integrated 2" lift and plated for Dobinsons springs.

2. Rear sub-frame drop - MFC makes a sub-frame drop kit allowing for better alignment of the axels after a 2"+ lift

3. Front 2" level kit - From gleaming alloy to level out the rear lift

4. Springs, Shocks, Struts - Dobinsons full trailhawk 1" kit

Looking good, I just finished mine today now I have to wait till next week for alignment.
No sun frame drop here, the Dobinson 2” stilettos, hyper hero adjustable camber links. Still running the raked front end. I’m already 2” in front and with my axle angles at 16.50 degrees I don’t want to push it. Rear axles are around 6.7ish degrees
Like you wrote, looks are deceiving. Pictures never do our mods justice. I have to say that I absolutely love it. The color too, same as mine… billet silver.

I have a question about Lift Kits. I called a local 4x4 shop and the tech said they are "told" not to lift any Trailhawk vehicle.... something about it messes with the suspension, etc.

CorwinTrailhawk woth a 2" lift. So its possible. Is that why you added and/or changed out some things?

Thanks in advance, everyone...😁

Mine has been fine for almost 3yrs now. Lots of others around here too with no issues. Most issues that do occur are installation related, or pushing the envelope, and going over 2 inches...😎
