My 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk's sunroof is popped up but closed and it won't go back down. When I try to close the sunroof the sunchade comes forward intermittently, I can also hear a click on the passenger side of the sunroof. As it is, I cannot get it to seal up and close tightly.
Incidentally;
I just got my Trailhawk back the other day from the dealership where they replaced the tensioner belt,serpantine belt and the pulley as well as water pump & thermostat. Is there any way my sunroof issue is related to the service done? Also,
Any recomendations on getting the sunroof to seal and a fix for the dead buttons?
Thanks for any insight and knowledge you all may have.

Check on the outside to make sure the gasket has not pulled out and is closing in between. Mine does it all the time. Just need to put it in vent mode and pop it back in by hand from the outside. Once done, then you might need to do the relearn procedure for the sunroof. That being said, it could also be a mechanical issue. If that is the case, then you would need to get it fixed/replaced. It would not be related to engine work from the services done.
