Hi!
Maybe I was spoiled by the clarity of the backup cam in the 2019 Rogue I traded in for my 2016 Limited, but I just have to comment on how crappy the image quality is of the Cherokee's rearview camera. During the day it's manageable, but at night it really sucks. The grains from the ISO setting are just terrible.

I've done a search on the forum for others talking about this issue, and a suggestion was to upgrade to higher wattage reverse lighting. Has anyone ever replaced the actual camera instead?

Thanks!
Jen

part of the issue is the screen resolution is quite low. My 2019 is much improved over the 2017 I previously had.

I plug a BLAZER backup/utility light into the 7-pin trailer connector.
Has a H1 halogen bulb, works great.
I also have a REESE TOWPOWER backup alarm that plugs into the 7-pin trailer connector.
I can use either one, or both, or none.

Interesting idea - thanks. :)

A little cleaning of the camera lens might help. I've not had that problem with my 2019, it's clear and bright for the most part, day or night.
