It's definitely coming. We got the second most snow in a 12 hour period in Utah history today. It started raining yesterday afternoon, and by 6pm turned to snow. I was up at 3:30 this morning and had almost 30". Had a drift on the passenger side of the Trailhawk up the side, and over the roof. After a lot of digging, when I should have said screw the neighbors and fired up the brand new snow blower (but, I'm a courteous neighbor), I left for the extremely adventurous drive to the office in Salt Lake. Had to go Low4, locker, and full off traction control and blast through 2 feet plus of beautiful unplowed roads for about a mile to get out of my neighborhood, and though we were pushing snow up over the hood, she handled it with ease. Definitely the deepest road snow I've ever driven her through. Got to I-80, and it wasn't much better. A Trailhawk, with the right tires, and snow, deeeeeep snow is a non issue. My Toyo A/T III's continue to impress...❄❄❄😎

I've lived here for almost 25 years, and never seen it dump that much, that quickly. The one and only time it did was back in 1983. That year also marked record flooding due to a very quick melt off...😎

I just have the stock tires on mine as I got it about a month ago. I’ll just get through the remainder of winter as is. However, next year I plan to get winter tires. These Destinations A/T’s are much worse than my go-to winter tire preference for Michigan driving. Until then, I’ll just have to be extra careful when whatever remaining storms blow in the next few weeks. For the majority of bad winter driving conditions we get, the Michelin X-Ice are outstanding. Blizzaks are very good runner up. I just wish the ones I had on my last vehicle would have fit this vehicle. They had a solid 3 years left on them.

Once upon a time I had an Audi 100LS with blue tread snow tires on all 4 wheels and yellow plastic chains with carbide steel studs on the front.
The Audi had a real steel bumper. With only 1 wheel drive that car was a beast in snow.
Got stuck once on US 50 in WV in a snow storm, not because I couldn't, but because everybody else was stuck and blocked the highway.
Finally State Highway sent in an earth grader and cleared the highway of snow and vehicles.
So the moral of this story is stay home.

All of that was filmed in the Minneapolis/St Paul area where I live. If that guy filming has been out and about the last couple days he has a lot more video to post. haha

Two waves of snow have hit us. First wave was 5 inches at my place and 11 inches more after last night with more snow coming down as I write this. Snow is stopping soon though.

My Blizzak equipped Jeep has been sitting comfortably in my garage the last 2 days. Being retired has its advantages as I've got nowhere to go. :)

North of Denver we only got about 5-inches. But the mountains got plastered! Last night's low was -17F and today's high is suppose to break 20F. The TH didn't even notice the snow and the battery is just fine in the cold. Kinda wish the mountains hadn't taken the brunt of the storm, but those of you downstream along the Colorado River will like it come spring!

"Tire hairs?" We always called them "titties."

Awesome pics! Glad to hear some people are normal, or
have record breaking snow! Mean while we have temps in the 80's.

Mine is the same lol

Our Prius sits outside though, but we aren't going anywhere, so hopefully this ice and snow mess will melt off it soon.
