Not for about 26 years and then I was up the road a distance in Sarasota for 13 years. Live in UP state SC now. You still have the "love bugs" down there?

I used to live in Bonita Springs (Fort Myers/Naples area). Moved to NC 10 years ago. But I drive down there about once a year to visit family and the beaches! If I'm down there, I'll let you know!

nice to hear we have some local..I need to get some upgrades done so i can get out and play. I'll be slowly upgrading skids, lift, rock rails and tires. Then I'll be ready for Ocala..

What tires do you find the best for down here?

I am finishing off my stock tires now. the fronts are about 30% left and the rears about 70% (weren't rotated by previous owner). I haven't decided on the new ones yet, but I drive mostly on the street. I think I might stick to an all terrain tire like the stock ones only bigger. I like the KO2s but they aren't the best for street and are extremely noisy on my buddies wrangler. I might sacrifice a little off road (10% of my driving) for a better street ride (90% of my driving).


Oh, The stock tires did great in Ocala. It poured rain all day and I never had any problems. It was mothers day weekend and we only saw 1 other person all day (stuck chevy). no need to upgrade to get up there and enjoy the trails if you have a trailhawk. 3' deep sugar sand ruts. I just stayed out of the ruts and on top. never spun the tires once. even pulling out a full sized chevy truck. the stock firestones actually impressed me. Probably going back to explore some more in a couple weeks.

Miami FL here new to the Jeep life as well. I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited 2.4L ( don't know the code yet like Ky-KL) but looking for any hangouts or get-togethers
