My previous 3 Jeeps with Tow package all had a separate
Scheduled Maintenance lists for Transmission, Transfer case, and Axle(s) fluid changes etc.
I do not see anything of the sort with this one unless I missed something.
Also are there grease fittings?
Answers/Opinions???

I will wait until it tells me too. I am assuming the monitoring system will realize it is towing and adjust the interval.

As it looks there is very little maintenance on this vehicle other than oil changes.
Even coolant goes 10yrs/100k. I just can not believe transmission fluid and axel fluid do not need to be changed when towing unless the oil system tracks that also.
But again I am not a Chrysler engineer.
That will save lots of $$$ in maintenance over my prior Jeeps.

Page 644 in the owner's manual starts the Maintenance Schedule. It mentions that using the car for frequent short trips, hot/cold temps, and trailer tow will influence the oil change indicator.

Additionally it mentions if you use the car in a Severe Duty situation like very dusty or off road you should change it every 4000 miles regardless. Every 20k they say to check tie rods, boot seals, etc. Doesn't mention grease fittings so maybe the car is using non greased tie rods (which I've never had any good experience with but whatever).

Page 613 mentions that Jeep considers the transmission fluid and filter to be lifetime. If you wanted to flush it you could but they don't require it.

The PTU is not like a true transfer case so operation and maintenance are a little different.

Thanks for the info.
I'll have to get the printed edition book.
Trans fluid for the life of the vehicle makes me real nervous, especially when towing over the years.
