I've emailed and offered my TH up to them for work but never received any response. I'm just over the mountain from them and in fact, my TH was there yesterday picking up sliders. They could have stuck a tape measure to it and had a little hands on but I guess they have what they need at this point.

My understanding is they have what they need for test vehicles when it comes to the KL platform. They even have someone lined up already for the skid plates they are designing.

No word yet, but I've been lazy about returning the old bumper too. My guess, few more weeks before I receive my third bumper. Keep in mind for those that haven't read the whole thread, that's a third test bumper, not public available bumper.

What is their shop like? If its anything like their website, might explain things not being right. Not to poke too much fun but there are typos everywhere, almost looks like an email from a Nigerian Prince.

Actually the shop is very professional. Upstairs is the office and the shipping is handled by one gentleman downstairs on the left of the warehouse. Everything is fairly organized. But it's maybe a 20 man crew for all the products they produce. They are working on a new website currently. Something far less dated.

That's good to hear, the quality of the website and product descriptions put me off a little. It doesn't bother me that its outdated, the descriptions suck.

My understanding is the owner has had the old website for quite some time. The new website is being made by the operations manager Matt.

I've been to their shop as well, to pick up my rock rails in person to avoid shipping costs. I live about 50 miles away. The shopped looked very professional. The upstairs offices are not modern and richly appointed by any means, but it looks functional. There must have been at least over 50 rock rails being worked on in their shop. The staff were very accommodating to me when I received the rock rails. I had no issues with the installation and have put those to good use. They have paid for themselves on many back roads.

Okay, I got the new bumper today and there have been a few design changes that you should be aware of. These will now be applied to all systems. The light bar mount sticks out prolly 1/4" maybe 1/2" further than the old one. It now has a steeper angle to help lights mounted to the light tabs clear the hood. In addition the control box holes have been moved even further away from the hood and have larger holes to accommodate larger bolts. Also the sensor holes are now in the properly place and the good news is with everything mounted and in it's place the hood closes AND the sensors now work. Mind you I've only spent 3 1/2 hours with it installed but so far everything works MUCH better.

Now, with that said, on the 2015/2016 models something changed or tolerances aren't what they used to be, so when installing this you will receive metal sleeves of different sizes for the 4 bolts that hold the bumper on. You are going to have to play trial and error to get it to sit flush against the factory bumper. This is no fault of RRO, each TH seems to have different tolerances. When installed everything clears but JUST barely. They are going to make changes to the final product to hopefully get it a little tiny bit more clearance. However, if you are having clearance issues try moving your metal sleeves around or grinding them down 1 or 2mm. The shorter the sleeves the closer to the bumper and hood everything is.

Good word is, everything fits and everything works just as it should. I believe this is as close to the final product you are going to get. Give me a few weeks of running around with it and I'm sure RRO will start selling it. But understand if you are having fitment issues of a few mm's to maybe 1/8" it's likely the position of your sleeves, try relocating them to a different spot. I had to put mine on and take it off about 5 times. All in all it's about an hours worth of work if you already have the cradle and the holes in the bumper drilled.

Now onto quality, the powder coat needs work. I'm not showing pictures of the affected area but I'm told they will look into why this piece was so bad. I'm also told they have changed the powder coating procedure recently to get a higher quality job. There were burrs left on some of the holes but that's just nitpicking.

Overall I'm VERY happy with the install.

Nice job and quick install - will this still require the 'mod' to the ACC eye - and how is that holding up for you once you got it adjusted etc? I'm starting to get really excited this might happen!

The new winch cradle should have a location for the eye. You will have to trim the plastic shroud around the eye but otherwise that's it. I actually haven't touched the aim of the eye because while it has some issues, picking up left or right extremes in town, it was never intended to be used on city streets. So, on highways it works like it should.

If anyone is in the area of Fort Worth and is interested in any of the stuff I have on the TH and is thinking about getting it, send me a PM and I'll let you see everything in person.
