RRO Winch Kit & TH V6 w/Technology Package

If you get an answer, I'll be interested as well. I ordered everything but am waiting for it to get here. RRO claims the ONLY adjustment is that you drill a 2" diameter hole over each sensor so it can "see".

What I wouldn't give to see and live in the woods again. I'm originally from Washington state. But do you have any issues with the "eye"? RRO claims it should function normally but it appears as though the bumper sits a little in the way.

The ACC sensor (eye) did not get blocked at all it is working fine. There is another user on here who just notched around the sensors from the edges making kind of a >< pattern.

I like the way you did it better. The problem I have though is fitment. I have the V6, Tech Package, and Tow Package with the winch mount. I'm hoping I don't run into any notorious RRO fabrication problems.

As to RRO issues, everything I read was with their poor powder coating, otherwise I believe their actual steel work is A+ from everything I have read.

I personally won't be installing the system. I'm taking it to someone to do as I can't handle the work myself as much as I'd like to. But I will do my best to supervise and keep everyone updated when it all gets here.

I got the brush bar because since I have the tech package I couldn't get the skid plate.

The thing I'm concerned about with the install is the fact that I have the v6, tech package, and tow package. Other forum members early on ran into problems with having the tow package and the v6 because it would hit or was too close to the larger radiator or trans cooler. But shortly after I get the kit I'll be getting it installed. I simply can't wait.

Thanks, I can't wait to get it all installed. I MIGHT do the rails myself but the rest is gonna get sent out to a shop to get done.

So everything came in today. Pretty tricky getting it all into the TH to take it to CarToys to have it installed, especially when I can't lift. So anyways, I got it there. We looked it all over and it seems to have all come in. The everything was wrapped really well. My only complaint was the crossmember sleeves and bolts and washers were loose in the box. Not bagged like the rest of the hardware. Tomorrow it gets installed. We are prepared for it not to fit as I have the v6 with the tow package. But we will see. No one seems to have a straight answer as to if the kit will fit when you have the tow system. If all goes smoothly awesome. I'll take pictures and post them.

Anyone? Before I have hem bolt it back together, did they send me the wrong winch mount? They claim it only needs to be adapted for the sensors. Not the eye. Otherwise on Monday I'm driving to Utah and showing up on their door step to make this right! I'm furious.

There's no place to even bolt the acc to. They are looking at possibly modifying it but my concern is the tolerance of the acc then.

I'm gonna call RRO Monday since they are closed weekends and find out what's up. Maybe I just got the wrong crossmember. If they give me any trouble not answering/returning calls or emails I'll just drive to their office and figure it out. It's only an 18 hour drive.

Yea almost 2300$ worth. I'm a little upset. But I'll approach it professionally and see where that gets me. Because right now I'm out 3 hours shop labor trying to get this installed. Money I'm not going to get back.

So I've been talking to someone from RRO on their Facebook page. And I have email proof from them saying yes everything would work except the sensors in the bumper. Now they are saying it doesn't work and that I should go to Home Depot and try to adapt it myself to make it work. I feel I've been baited and switched. Monday I will still call them and try and get an answer out of them that works in my favor. I would prefer to take it to them and have them adapt it themselves and make it work rather than taking to a shop local to me and seeing if they can make it happen.
