Got a RoofNest Condor XL mounted on the Rocky Road steel roof rails. Fits a bit snug but she fits! I usually take it off in the winter during ski season since I need the space and do far less camping and put it back on each spring with the help of a couple friends (bribed with a beer or two!)

Had a CVT Summit Series before this and wanted to upgrade to the hardshell hence the RoofNest.

(Note: a few photos I still have my Gobi that I sold - don't need the whole traversable rack when it's always covered)

Oh how it would be to be young, resilient, and tough again!!! My tent camping days have pretty much been reduced to the backyard, with the grandkids. It's a damn shame, you get soft with age, in more ways than just your belly...LOL!!!😬😎

I'll try grab a close-up picture today or tomorrow just so it's clear what I mean.

It's not very obvious on the picture, actually, but the rubber washer is sawed/filed so it is thicker on the inside that the outside to compensate for the angled underside of the roof rail. It's maybe 1mm on the narrow side and 4-5 mm on the thicker side, and then of course squeezed into a flat-ish fit by the fender washer.
