saw a rhino in person, looks more like a pastel blue to me. i didn't care for it i was hoping for more of a gray color

What a waste of a color option

I test drove a rhino KL TH last Monday. In person, it looks like a dark steel blue. The Internet doesn't look anything lije it does in person. Looks completely different than the granite. As much as the granite looks different than black. We were looking at the Anvil, but with it out of the lineup, rhino has moved to the front of the list. However, we'll probably get the 75th anniversary edition TH. Color selection for that model may be limited, as it was on our 2001 60th anniversary edition Wrangler. The fortunate thing for us on the TJ, was our favorite color (Silverstone) was available. Wish they would have brought Silverstone to the KL for 2016.

Saw one at my local dealer last week finally , looks great in sun , has the metal anvil type look but much darker

Woah! Woah! Do I see pin-stripes? On two vehicles? Next to each other? I've been looking for pinstripes.


Also, what color is Rhino in real life? Is it flat gray, anvil, dark gray? i can't seem to tell from photos. Does it have a metallic in it?

My TH is Rhino and honestly it looks like a deep pastel blue almost black color pending on the lighting. Its hard to peg a color when it changes pending on the lighting... but I love it.

I ended up with the Rhino after a failed purchase for the white one, posted in purchases thread. I was unsure on the Rhino from web pics but when I saw it in person I was hooked. Almost glad I had the issue with the white one. I like the stealth look and planning on graying out or remove the badging and replacing the chrome lug nuts with black locks. Undecided if I will change color on the red hooks.

The Rhino color is my fave and it's such a chameleon. At night it looks dark grey or even black, during the day it can look bluish or sometimes even very slightly greenish. All I have handy of my own Rhino TH are from a weekend trip to Blue Ridge Reservoir.
