Reviews after transmission software fix?

Curious if anyone has seen a review after the transmission software fix was implemented. Also, would appreciate any comments on the transmission shifting behavior from folks who've taken test drives & new owners.

Thanks -

Also interested in knowing how smooth it shifts and it's reaction time from a standstill, some new automatic transmissions have been having some delays moving from a standstill.
I never heard any complaints from journalists about the transmission PRIOR to the fix. And I read a TON of test drive previews, all with glowing reviews!

Seems like Jeep's delays with trying to perfect these vehicles before they get out is slowly paying off!

I haven't heard anything bad about the transmission. And that is before and after the delay. The only bad things I heard about it was from Jeep itself, describing what they were spending time on fixing. I'd take that as a good sign though. Other than the delay and bold styling, people have little bad to say about the Cherokee.
I can honestly say that in the 450 miles shifting has been smooth. Little hang up going uphill in 3rd gear 2-3x but that was all before 150 miles on it. Hasn't done it since.

do you feel Cherokee flipping through all 9? or are there times it will settle in after 6 or 7 gears?
I did see one review that had a few negative comments on the transmission shifting; but he did mention a software update was coming and he'd want to review again after that production update was released.

Below is a link to the review (youtube- Alex on Autos / TTAC):

mmooretrailhawk14 - good to hear your feedback.
I haven't read too many complaints on the transmission in general.

x2 same here

most reports say it's good.
if there are issues they'll show up in the coming months.
We will be testing the "all 9" gears tomorrow. I typically don't get her past 50 during the week :-( witnessed a group of high schoolers tonight pointing and talking about the trailhawk while heading into the grocery store. "Too round in the rear and pointy in the front" I just laughed.
Does the Cherokee actually use all the gears? Are some of them just for doing things like towing?

I haven't heard anything bad about the transmission since Jeep said it was fixed.

Technically, gears 7,8,9 are all overdrives.
1-6 will be the range normally, with 7-9 most likely not being used until highway speeds and durations. (This is why Trailhawks get a paltry 18-19 city, but upwards of 25 mpg highway)
I opened her up today and had her up to 75. We settled in at 8th nicely. Shifts smoothly coming onto highways, most pep I've probably ever owned. (Coming from my underpowered, way to heavy compass)

So what kind of speed do you have to be doing before it cruises in the 9th gear ?
Well that's an awesome question!
I drove one and the transmission was great.
I wish I could provide a link to the article but I can't find one. Must need digital access to the Toronto Star. On Nov. 2 Jil McIntosh wrote a review of the Cherokee, Forester, Rav4, Outlander and Encore. Unfortunately she didn't specify the models, giving only price as tested on the one she drove. She ranked them with the Cherokee first, then Forester a scant second, then Rav4, Outlander and Encore last.

She said the Cherokee outperformed all others on the roller logs in even the "mildest of the model's three available AWD systems." I know, I know, why the heck did she not specify but I assume this means Active Drive 1. I guess.

She said it had the quietest cabin.

And, the reason I am posting this here, she said, "The only downside is its too-busy nine-speed automatic transmission, which shifts to another gear on the slightest incline or smallest movement of your foot on the throttle."
