Were you ever able to program a remote key fob with AlfaOBD?

That would be a first from where I'm sitting.

I would think, and hope... that programming a key would require more, in terms of security, than buying a $50 piece of software... Some locksmiths can program them, though.

Is there anyone on the forum who can send me a pin code to encode a key for my Cherokee? I can pay for this help. my Vin 1C4PJMCS5FW600664. the RFH key read is 61317. Please help.

You're going to need a master locksmith for this. Or a dealership.

I'm not afraid of car theft. Nobody knows why I have a 5 digit pin?

What I meant was : if someone can get a PIN code from a $50 piece of software to program a key, well, imagine how easy that would make it to steal a vehicle (not yours necessarily, just speaking in general).

Do you have a locksmith shop near where you are ? Might be worth asking them.
