LOL, I hear ya! Good luck let us know the out come, hopefully a quick fix and you are on your way! Other than this issue how's your new ride?
Well, I'll use a word I don't use often... Fantastic!
I walk up to it and it's like i'm 12 with a new bike. It looks great, the leather feels right, the interior is comfortable, and it drives like a rally car on logging roads. Best car I've owned.
My only complaints are: no E-brake lever, and the rear window could be lower to allow more visibility.
(thanks for asking. my wife is sick of hearing about it) :)

What do you mean no E-brake lever?

I gotcha on the brake.
One thing I like about the e-park brake is this setting:
"If the Auto Park Brake feature is enabled, the parking
brake will automatically engage whenever the transmission
is placed into PARK, or with a manual transmission,
when the ignition switch is turned OFF."
Not helpful when stunt driving, but very practical. Glad to hear the snow setting works well. I sure could have used it the last few days!

Thanks for posting this problem. I just bought my 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited and have the same problem with my rear windows. Not sure if it was that way the day I bought it, but I did notice it within 3 days of owning the Jeep. Guess I will be taking mine in to have it fixed too. Good to know what I can tell them to look for. Thanks.

Problem solved. Took it in and within 40 mins they had found a loose wire at the master switch (where ever that is)
Yesterday I experienced this issue with a rear window that would not roll up. Had been driving for a couple hours, used the driver controls to roll down the driver's side rear window all the way. It did not want to roll back up. Didn't respond to the driver door controls or the controls on the back seat door. Fooled around with the child lock toggle - didn't make a difference. All other windows were functioning fine. This was very concerning since I was in the middle of a national park with a chance of thunderstorms (also UConnect ASSIST got zero reception in the park, probably to be expected).

I tried stopping the car a couple times, turning it off, getting out, getting back in and starting up - but that didn't help. Finally, I parked by the side of the road to do a short hike (was gone for maybe 45 mins). When I got back to the Jeep, the window was magically back up (a real wtf moment). No idea how that happened, but I will probably take it to the dealer and have them investigate. Hopefully just a loose wire as the quoted poster described.

Heading to the dealer now to get my window issue checked out. Will report back once it gets diagnosed.

I will also get my first oil change done since I'm going up there already. Only have about 1600 miles on it, but I've taken a few 8+ hour drives and it's feeling more broken in now.

Will also be asking them to install the front license plate mount (it pains me greatly to deface the front of this vehicle - it's so perfect as is).

NOTE: This is all being done at a different dealership from where the Lattie was purchased.

I know what you mean about front license place mount. I hate the diea of just screwing a license plate into those little holes my dealer drills into the bumpers. Always fearful the holes will eventually get stripped and leave a messy bumper that does not hold the plates adequately. what is the mount you speak of/how does it work? Can you refer to something specific I would be able to buy? Thanks.

Update: Dealer hooked up to the computer and of course no error codes were found. Despite telling them at the start that it was most likely a loose connection at the "master switch" (as previous poster had stated) all they did was hook it up to the computer and then raise the white flag of surrender. They said they could pull off the door panel and start running through their "test plan" but there would be no guarantee they could locate the cause plus they were about to close so I would have to bring it back another day and leave it there. So I still don't have any real resolution on the issue - debating whether to drop it off for a day or just hope this issue doesn't occur again (could be a bad situation if it got stuck and started raining).

Got the first oil change out of the way since I was already at the dealer. Had 1800 miles on it at the time.

Of course, they totally forgot about my request to mount the license plate bracket. Also, their complementary wash and vacuum was a complete disaster. I had to re-wash as soon as I got home. I now feel suspicious about any dealer offering me a free wash with service.

Since the front is pretty exposed and the drivers in my city are completely clueless I was actually considering something heavy duty for the font plate to help protect against parking lot taps:

I never let the dealer wash my car. When I have in the past I to have had to do a re-wash at home. They just want to get it in and out as quickly as possible and you wind up with water spots on the windows and all over the car when they don't do a good job of drying. For the last few years now I've declined the free wash offer.
