purchasing 2019 cherokee trailhawk elite, warranty questions

Hi I am purchasing a 2019 trailhawk elite with 49k on it from a dealership in NY, 3 hours from where I live as there are none around. This is a certified pre owned are there any warranty coverages still active on it? Dealer states just a 30 day warranty from them. Does anybody do the extended warranties on these things? I have two mechanics I totally trust and know about cars myself, just hate paying a lot of money on a car and want to know all the safety nets.

Thanks

Rob

I'm in Canada, things might be a little different here, but as far as I know the 5y/60K mile powertrain warranty is transferable, so you're covered for 11K miles. Depending on when this 2019 hit the road initially, you could have about a year left, if you don't drive much ; do ask the seller, to confirm.

As far as extented warranties go, I'll let folks in the US reply to that.
thanks you all are the best
Forgot to mention... That 30-day warranty they mentionned is possibly (probably ?) a bumper-to-bumper thing, might even be mandatory for dealers to throw this in. But do ask them, to confirm.

Thank @Mark_ i do have the 30 day never knew it was mandatory
Could be a certified pre-owned thing, I'm not sure though. Makes sense a dealer would cover a certified vehicle bumper-to-bumper for 30 days. But like I said, have them confirm this so you know where you stand. The 5 year/ 60K mile powertrain warranty is yours, just make sure you know the in-service date of the Jeep ; If I recall, the 2019s starting rolling off the assembly line possibly as early as summer 2018... and if yours in an early one, you may have less than a year left - or 11K miles, whichever comes first...
