taking 2 cars this year (side benefit of adult children) but the Jeep & it's class II hitch will take all 4 bikes. don't need the roof basket but thought I'd chuck the bike bag on the roof. 4 helmets, 4 water bottles, 4 bike trunks, 4 cable locks. should be fine for the 2 hr drive. got them all nestled in together. used some foam bits to protect a cpl contact points. no shifters or derailers have any contact. used all 3 stability straps. bike bag is sitting on the roof & a tiny bit of the sunroof. it's soft & not heavy. probably didn't even need the crossbars but since I had them ...mounted them way back on the rails. kinda different

Jeep to the rescue again. late FIL's desk which our Son has taken ownership of fits just barely in the cargo area. we moved it in a U-Haul originally but with him moving in w/ his girlfriend, I got the tap
