I'm not sure what you mean by turning at the culvert. It's my understanding that they don't always let people park on the grass so that may explain why people weren't climbing wheels since it tears up the grass. It so far seems like a great group. More charity and donation oriented than an off-roading group. And they are family oriented. Kids come along all the time. Fun for everyone.
Overall everyone was nice about my rig. People were surprised by how compact everything is. How close the winch is to the radiator, how armored the belly is, etc. I would feel comfortable recommending anyone from the forum to the club. They are a great group of people.
